SCHOLARSHIPS: 2024 Entry

2-Year Scholarships worth up to £24,000

  • WHAT WE ARE OFFERING

    • We are offering a limited number of 2-year full scholarships into Tennis Avenue School (worth £24,000) and 50% scholarships (worth £12,000) to children aged 8-11. 
    • As part of all scholarships, players are optionally offered a 100% ODEA racket sponsorship: 4 rackets, backpack, 2 caps and 48 grips (worth £600)

  • WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • We are looking for children who would thrive in a school that enables them to spend 3+ hours each day training in the sport they love. 
    • They must bring a positive energy, a can-do attitude, good behaviour and a desire to work hard and compete at the highest levels. 
    • At the same time we seek parents who will trust us enough to leave the entire tennis development process to our experience and judgement

  • MINIMUM CRITERIA

    • To receive a scholarship, players must be national level, competing regularly in LTA Grade 1 and Grade 2 tournaments
    • In certain exceptional cases we may accept players we feel could attain national level within 12 months
    • We are unable to offer scholarships to children who have special educational needs that require resources beyond what we have as standard (due to the additional and uncertain costs involved).

  • THE PROCESS

    • Once you submit this form we will respond within 48 hours with a choice of dates and times for an initial meeting
    • Further to this meeting, we may invite your child to attend a formal trial for 2-3 days at the school
    • At the conclusion of the trial you will be informed if your application for scholarship has been successful
